This program provides intensive services to help a child and his or her birth family reunite. If the child’s goal is return home and they are already receiving our Treatment Foster Care Services, this additional service enhances the existing TFC service.
An assessment of the birth family is completed prior to the initiation of services. Coached family visitation, within the context of attachment parenting, and a full array of case management services directed toward the birth family are provided.
The goals of this service is to shorten the child’s stay in the foster care system. Family Reunification allows a custodial agency to implement a permanent plan in a more rapid time frame.
