We are looking for foster parents with these qualities:

- Good parenting skills
- Commitment
- Flexibility
- Warmth and patience
- A willingness to learn
- A sense of humor
- Empathy

We serve our foster families through:
- Supportive casework
- 24-hour availability
- Training opportunities
- Social and recreational activities
- Respite care
- Mentor services
- A tax-free stipend up to $1600.00 per month

We serve children and adolescents who have one or more of these special needs:
- Emotional problems
- Behavioral problems
- Poor self-esteem
- School difficulties
- Medical or physical handicaps
- Mental retardation
- Developmental delays

Our children may:
- Be depressed, withdrawn, hyperactive or oppositional
- Have problems managing anger
- Have difficulty developing healthy relationships with adults and peers
